From the very first time I saw you walk in for your audition I said to myself "I this guy"! He's different from anyone we've ever seen on Idol. I picked you from that day to win! I just knew that if you made it in I would be losing sleep voting for you and losing sleep is what I got! 
My daughter Emma Rose was holding up a cowbell sign to you at the Big E in the front row, you waved to her! She wants me to tell you that she wants to start "The Right Place" at her next concert, believe me she knows all the words!

I wasn't sure how I wanted to approach these birthday greetings. There are many thank yous that I want to express but I feel like it's not the right time to lay all of those thoughts on you. So here is what I wish for you...
I wish you peace and quiet. Even if it's only for a few moments or days. Time to reflect on where you've been and what you've done over the last year.
I wish you ease in getting the creative juices flowing. I know you're anxious to get the muses going and hope you are successful with that.
I wish you happiness. It seems that you have found some of that and it certainly shows by the smile on your face. You deserve it.
