Oh, we did make it to the actual AI show. We had floor seats that weren't great but at least I was on the aisle and could get up and dance. I'm not going to share the other photos but will show you these. Our one chance at some great music that night.
Taylor in Portland, Maine. Fantastic shirt...

I remember it like it was yesterday. What a year it has been. If you asked me before that night what I'd be doing in a year, I'm positive all of this would not have even been on the radar! But after meeting a group of wonderful women who had the same passion for the music and the man there was no turning back.
Liz, you know that I would not be here if it were not for your gentle nudging and hand-holding in the weeks before. I will be forever grateful for that and what you have brought into my life!

I have no pictures to post. All of my snapshots of that day are forever stored on my own internal hard drive, and called upon when I need a laugh or motivation to keep doin' what we do!
You can find a recap of our Portland adventure here:

To all of our members - I'm so glad you've found a home here and I hope you continue to enjoy this little piece of Taylorland!

Tricia
I just wanted to thank you guys for letting me be a part of this group.
You all are wonderful, kind, generous people who, in addition to boosting Taylor's career, do so many wonderful things for others.
I am very proud to be a part of the NESP.

We ALWAYS wind up with a drink of two pre or post show, don't we girls?

I have one question....who's the girl with the white striped shirt on in
this picture?

OUR FIRST MEETING!!!!
Sebago Brewing Company in Portland, Maine
We had no idea what the next 365 days would hold...
(More photos to follow - now time for bed)
Please excuse me for all the who is who questions this morning
just one more I remember meeting her in Cohasset but can't remember her name. The girl sitting between Liz and Linda please?
She was fun to talk with.
Lisa, you are full of questions. The first photo the woman in the stripe shirt is Sheryl, she's from CT. Think she may be at the Big E.
The second photo, that's Linda T.

I'm loving this thread

The red guitar pic-Amy carried
that everywhere :rolf: I agree on the street corner soundcheck
Margaux-that was really cool

Remember the guards setting up those tiny gates? Like that
could keep the SP out if we chose to storm them?

Taylor
saying he'd be out later and the guards saying "90% of them say
that and they NEVER come back out" and we just looked at each
other and stayed-"Taylor wouldn't lie to us" as the guards rolled their
eyes

and then Taylor coming back out

Tricia,
imagine if you didn't come? We wouldn't have this wonderful home

I'm so glad you did.
Taylor signing my CD and taking it

My first words to the man
"Ummm can I have that back please?" and his confusion and quick
grin
Playing the plastic harmonicas in the ritzy Eastland Park Lounge?
I just want to say "Thanks" to all of you for making this such a
fabulous year!!

This group has become like family and we've
had so much fun it's just awesome!
