Neat widget you've got there ! Am curious if it lets you know how many hits it is getting - or if all you get is the percentages too ?

That is a really cool widget (I love that word :haha
Looks like Somehow is the runaway favorite so far. Hard to choose, I like most of them

Everyone say it with me:
![]() "In Your Time. In Your Time. In Your Time." Sometimes I think, it's just a simple thing I close my eyes and I realize all I really need Is a love I had, and the love I had to give Cause anything else there is – is insignificant In this tiny life. |

Sorry Amy - - In Your Time has never been very high on my list
Somehow - original unmessed with version - and Son of a Carpenter have always been my favorites. Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent - Victor Hugo - You can be passionate about the music without all of the other crap - a wise wizard - |

RE: "Early Works Poll/ Choose your Favorite
My favorite song is Hold On To Your Love, but in the full-length tour version... parts I and II with tags.
But if the CD version were re-recorded with just the right arrangement, it would kick serious modern whomp. I have been enjoying John Mayer's new live DVD and he does some wailing blues numbers. "Gravity" may just be a genuine blues hit song. "I'm Gonna Find Another You" has a similar tempo and tone to "Somehow". If Taylor did nothing more for Early Works than re-record Somehow (yes the unmessed with version) with modern production values, so that it was "suitable for airplay", I'm convinced there would be a place in alternative radio for this song. |

I agree with you Margaux. Meyer's "Gravity" got airplay, but not "I'm Gonna Find Another You" which I love. The other song from "Continuum" that got play on alternative stations is "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room." Hot song. "Somehow" is my favorite and I think it could find its way to the same stations that play some of Meyer's non-pop single cuts - 92.5 the River, for example. Soul to me is a feeling, a lot of depth and being able to bring to the surface that which is happening inside, to make the picture clear. The song doesn't matter. It's just the emotion, the way it affects other people. - Aretha Franklin |

The DVD sound quality on Mayer's disk is so awesome, I hope the quality on "Warfield" is just as good. 92.5 would be the perfect station for "Somehow". But I think Taylor's gotta spend the fall visiting each and every one of these stations, appearing at their showcases, whatever it takes. Which I don't see happening while he's recording the new disk. |

My problem with Gravity is what happens to a lot of heavily played radio songs - - I'm sick of it already - and I don't even spend that much time listening to radio. But in all fairness I am a bigger fan of Meyer's guitar work than his singing Tricia, I do like Slow Dancing in a Burning Room Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent - Victor Hugo - You can be passionate about the music without all of the other crap - a wise wizard - |
