I am home after a full and fun day learning The Maze on drums.
Thanks to Karen and KRIS for the hospitality and the patient instruction!!!

I have pics!! Kris videotaped each of us separately and will e-mail them to us....not sure if I want to share mine, we'll see how dumb I look.

I would encourage anyone who is on the fence to go to the next workshop....I really enjoyed playing. I wish I had more practice but it was cool learning something new and making so much noise!! Felix was on (live from CA) webcam with a very special intro, greeting and performance...I have some of it on video.

OMG! I had soooo much fun! I was the slow learner today Haha

Could not get the beat for the life of me. MB & Teddy did great, put the rest of us to shame, lol. Kris did a great job breaking down the song for us. That made it easier - putting each part all together at the end was the most difficult part for me Rotfl

What a great surprise to be greeted by Felix via webcam & the live performance of the song for us! As well as getting the autographed drum stick from him & Taylor.

I too encourage people to go to the next one. Even though I looked like an ass in the video, I had a blast doing it Haha

and I think you will too. I'll post the video if we can get it in a private thread - don't want that out there for the haters to get a hold of Haha

Thanks for the pics of the fun day you had. You all look great. There's something about being behind drums with sticks in your hands that looks so COOL!
