Cool Jason Castro's new single
Here's the acoustic version. Cute song-pop to the core, catchy, sappy, but pure Jason. Once you've heard it a couple of times it becomes an ear worm so beware Grin

Yeah...I'm not completely sold on it yet...

Sometimes I think, it's just a simple thing
I close my eyes and I realize all I really need
Is a love I had, and the love I had to give
Cause anything else there is – is insignificant
In this tiny life.

RE: Jason Castro's new single
I like the other one much, much better. Can't remember the name of it though. It was some time ago. Not liking this one.

I GOT MY TOES IN THE WATER
ASS IN THE SAND
NOT A WORRY IN THE WORLD
A COLD BEER IN MY HAND
LIFE IS GOOD TODAY.

Making nice : he still has the potential to grow as an artist
Honest : fluff for tweens

You can be passionate about the music without all of the other crap

Fluffy is a good word for it.
My first reaction -- a male version of Colbie Callait, pleasant and earwormy but musical cotton candy.

Definitely tween fluff so it will probably get air play. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the album brings-hopefully not all fluffy! Roll Eyes Still love his distinct voice and "a day out in the fresh air" vibe he's got going on Huggy

There's a cover of Hallelujah on the album...that much I do know. Smile

RE: Jason Castro's new single
I heard Jason's single again this week on the local station that hosted his radio promo last Saturday. Who says payola is dead? The whistling intro does get your attention.

Speaking of Jason...

Hanging with @jasoncastro here in Grand Rapids. He looks very... on Twitpic
